Asana, Pranayama & Meditation

Each class includes the practices of asana, pranayama & meditation.

Styles that can be incorporated vary from flow & strength building to relaxation & restoration.

 Each session is specially created for the individual person.

Assessments of health goals, interests, strengths & needs are incorporated into the design of your personalized yoga practice which includes:

  • Nutrition
  • Physical strength training through practice of Yoga Asana postures
  • Restful postures and focused Pranayama breathing for Relaxation
  • Therapeutic yoga for physical, internal & mental health
  • Education about the principles and philosophy of yoga
  • Encouraged self-study and personal practice to continue yoga practice within one’s own home.

Time:

Individual sessions are dependent on your schedule and amount of time you are available for practice.  Generally instruction is for one person, 1 ½ hours each session.  If needed, length of time can be reduced or increased to suit your needs.

Class Size:

Individual practice is held in the privacy of your own home, at the park, on a mountain top, or anywhere you feel comfortable.

Group classes are available if interested in coordinating a gathering of friends or family. Partner yoga is available and highly encouraged for a unique practice!

Yoga for Kids!  Children naturally do yoga in their own special way.  Teaching animal yoga shapes is a great way to encourage the little yogis to focus and relax.
